On October 31, 2023, we married at the courthouse in Cabarrus County, NC in front of our good friends, Allyson and Muyiwa. We went to brunch and had really good food and drinks. We wandered the city taking beautiful photos and ended the evening handing out Halloween candy to kids and napping on the couch while watching bad horror movies and sports. Both of us agree……it was a perfect wedding day.
Wynter and Chris met in June 2019 at a trivia night at the Discovery Place Science Center in downtown Charlotte.
Chris was absolutely dominating in trivia until Wynter arrived (she was late as usual). Wynter then immediately destroyed Chris in all science and math related trivia and took the lead. That was until geography and history related questions came up and it became apparent that those are not Wynter’s strong suit.
In the end, Chris won trivia night and at life because he wandered over and chatted with Wynter about comic books, Marvel movies, and Outkast albums. They exchanged numbers and the rest is history. Now you can usually find them at a local brewery in Charlotte hanging out with their dog, Ori.
We seriously cannot wait to celebrate with you at either (or both!) of the events in Birmingham AL or Detroit MI!
